George Johnson’s journey began at Texas A&M, where he earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering. He joined the US Army as a private and would later go on to retire as a Major.

George’s entry into the air conditioning business came in 1978 when a problem with this home’s AC unit prompted him to fix it himself as he disagreed with the diagnosis of the technician of the servicing company.

Following that, George started going to an AC school and did AC repairs part-time, being one of the first people to take the state AC exam as part of his class. His priority was always to fix something right the first time and to make friends. According to George, the HVAC business is simple, but prone to corruption as well. In this business, it is important to keep up to date with the latest technology, techniques and training. George agrees that Lee Air Services is not the cheapest service provider, but we make up for it with our personal services and guarantee that we will repair something right the first time.

After running the business for 44 years, George gradually retired in 2023 after partnering with the Chill Brothers. He chose the Chill Brothers after a lot of consideration as it was of utmost importance to him that customers are taken care of and continue to get the best service and pricing.
